Essentials for hiking in love valley for independent travellers
We went without the red or green tours that they offer in goreme. The tour offers doesnt look fair with the prices. Similar place can be reached by publoc transport and google search. We took a public bus to Uchisar for 20 tl per person and found the way to the love valley which is streight forward. Start of the way into the love valley is flat until the point that the road goes down into the hill. Going down is tricky and slippery but it is do-able with care. Within the valley there are different roads, but all are the same, we went for the higher ones that have better view into the valley. The path from the Uchisar back to the goreme takes almost 3.5 h to 4 hours by walking slowly and chill with taking photos, etc. Before you go take enough water. Have a nice hike.

    An interesting view
We stopped here to see what everyone is talking about on our drive out from Goreme. It's worth a stop just to see the views and the crazy landscape, the natural erosion has left a view that you won't see anywhere else. You can go horseriding around here and also I believe you can walk around the valley. We only had time for a 15 minute stop to take in the views.

    Don’t follow Google Maps trail!
Fab place to hike to from Göreme, but do not take the walking route that Google Maps suggests; not unless you want to add an unnecessary extra 30-40 minutes each way just to end up in a car park! To be fair, once you’ve reached the car park you do get to see the panoramic views of Love Valley, but you are not able to reach the valley via the car park. Instead you have to retrace your steps back down the main road and then turn off up a dirt track when you see the sign for Baglidere Vadisi. Highly recommend that you also wear shoes suitable for hiking, as I saw several people wearing trainers who were precariously sliding down the paths! It was quite amusing to watch, but it could have resulted in a nasty accident.

    Amazing and Lovely
One stepping into Love Valley in Cappadocia would be awe-struck by nature's captivating artistry. The valley's distinctive phallic rock formations, framed by expansive skies and rolling terrains, showcase Cappadocia's unparalleled geological wonders. Whether one is trekking its paths or floating in a balloon, its charm is undeniable. Truly, it stands as a testament to nature's imaginative brilliance in Turkey's heartland.

    Worthwhile walk! Amazing formations
I attended the love valley lookout and the walk from love valley, to white valley, to Uchisar. The lookout is well worth a stop. Just be aware it is a tourist spot, can get quite busy and there will be lots of people trying to sell you photos of yourself (have to make a living somehow). If you got a taxi here ask it to wait. You will need it to get to the walks starting point (I did not do this and had to hitch hike or you can walk 20 min back down the dusty, busy road). Be aware though, taking a taxi to the lookout costs 20 Lr. At the bottom of the lookout, back on the main road, is the start of the walk. As you go through the valley you will find a man selling juice in his hut - it is 100 Lr cash (maybe more expensive than elsewhere but there is no where else you can buy it from and he has to make a living). Continue walking on. There are lots of small tracks - try to always stick to the lower paths. If you go higher you have to back track. You can not get lost as long as you continue along the direction towards Uchisar between the valley walls. As a solo female I was a touch uneasy if I should do the walk but I felt safe. I told my hotel where I was, there where other tourists in the track (not many but enough that I felt you could yell for help if you needed it). The walk back by pigeon valley was more interesting - it was quite difficult due to washed out tracks and no people on it. But the walk from love valley to uchasir I recommend. Very enjoyable and you really get to see the area. Final tip. Even on cool days take water and dress appropriately. It is in a desert valley in direct sun. It still gets quite hot when 20 degrees. Be sensible.

Peculiar rock makes such weird name of this valley
This is a place like other peculiar rocks around Goreme. The only difference is the peculiar shape of the rock. There are several rocks standing side by side. All looks almost same. They are so weird that even our guide can’t explain directly in front of my teenage sons.

I liked the overlook that this valley offers. Also the fairy chimneys are popping out of nowhere, almost iconic look of the area.
No tickets to enter this place needed.

This sightseeing point is a little overrated. There are some interesting fairy chimneys but this is as far as it goes. Of course it is worth seeing if you are in the area but I would not recommend a trip especially for this valley. There are some photo spots with hearth frame constructions made of iron and small ceramic jugs and a cafe. If you go o a sunny day wear SPF protection cream and cover yourselves as the sun can become pretty strong and there are few shaded areas.

This unique shaped carved rock formations are natural marvels. The walk is not very long to take a few snaps of the geological wonders

You'll be brought here as part of a tour and the rock formations are really interesting, it offers a great view, worth a visit definitely. We also saw it from the air on our balloon ride which was even more spectacular.

You can either take a ride/tour out to Love Valley or see it up close with a hot air balloon ride. Either way, it's worth seeing.
