A unique, unforgettable ride for experienced, balanced and versatile riders. There are a lot of long canters, some on the plains, some through narrow, bushy paths in the valleys.
On horseback, you're crossing different mountains, valleys, you're climbing, hiking & leading your horse up / down if it's too steep.
The horses are very well mannered, extremly soft in the mouth, listen to the voice and are manageable in every situation - reliable a 100%. My mare was an ex-racehorse, so a lot of power, energy and as well surefooted to climb on small, hidden paths I wouldn't have imagined a horse can do this... with a rider o its back! For me, she was my perfect match to create legendary memories in this beautiful landscape.
Food & guesthouses were nice, very familiar and it's impossible to not have enough food 😉
Nico our guide (and owner) has determined rules about his riding, how to handle situations & the horses - you are well informed about that and by respecting them (also for safety reasons), you will be able to act as an independent rider. Trust your horse, it will then trust you.
A full recommendation from my side - best way to explore Cappadocia as one can access regions, where no one else is passing.
Why then not all stars for the review? The littering! It's a shame, how tourism, operators ect throw away their trash in this nature spots: we've found glas bottles, splittered ones, plastic, papier... unacceptable and unfortunately no one really takes care of it. I hope, the authorities will react soon and put activities/mesures in place soon to clean up & stop this.

We have deeply appreciated everything, from how well the tour was organized to the fact that Nico has always took us in places that were not frequented by tourists. In addition we have liked very much that many of the roads we have done were been discovered by Nico and we have seen a different and genuine side of Cappadocia.
Being our first experience we have came without any particular expectation, and we were very open minded on discovering new things about horses and riding experiences, and we have discovered a world that we have truly loved. From Nico and from the interaction with your amazing horses we have learned a lot, and we are very grateful for that.

The ride was challenging and technical, and for tish reason was soo much fun, and one in a million.
In addition the horses were amazing and very forward going, and Nico and Helene have a wonderful ranch.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! A very scenic fast ride! Nico is a great guide. He knows all his horses - all beautiful forward going arabs - and did a great job matching riders and horses. This is a “sportive” ride and sportive it is - long canters through challenging terrain and also walking leading your horse up and down steep trails. Definitely for fit and advanced riders. Nico is also very knowledgeable about Turkey and the area and was very willingly answering all our questions and sharing knowledge. Definitely was not my last ride with Kapadokya Ranch!

Nicolas Guillo who is in charge of this operation is an expert guide. His horses are all endurant, maniable, generous and in excellent condition His knowledge of the land and its history fulfils the physical and cultural aspects of the trek. I had huge expectations for the Cappadocia Sportive Ride. It fully deserves its name. If you are looking for a fast ride, sometimes tricky challenging terrain, varied landscape and most importantly a guide who knows the land like the back of his pocket which means you will hardly never meet other groups of tourists along the way, then this ride is definitely for you.

Beautiful Ranch, well-trained horses & the loveliest people! Nico, Helene & Ibo are super kind but at the same time true professionals.
I booked my stay very short notice (3 days!) and they organized everything from transfer to hotel and my tour. Kapadokya is unique and very beautiful, so if you love horse riding this is the best chance to combine both and see the best parts without taking the normal „paths“ like all the other tourists. We have been on the horses for hours without seeing a single person. I can only recommend this place and will definitely come back soon! :)

Not great. I was stuck with a couple that had very little riding experience, and, instead of the long canters I was promised, we had to walk mostly, even over empty spaces, and over narrow trails, because of those people. I paid for my holiday too; the ranch should have recommended joining a different group if the levels were different. Just disappointing.

We have just returned from yet an amazing week with Nico and his wonderfull horses riding the Sportive trail in Cappadocia. 30-40km per day on endurance trained arabic horses. The area is very special and historic. We stayed at small butique hotels and were servered delicious local meals. The ride was variated from climbing hills, walking valleys, swimming with the horses and cantering open fields. Everything well arranged and guided by Nico. This is a must do for any experienced rider.
The additional balloon ride among +100 balloons just added to the Cappadocian adventure

We have just returned from a fantastic week with Nico and his wonderful horses. We were on the "Dalyan, between sea and lakes" trail. A trail with spectacular views, river crossings, beach rides, demanding clims and decents and long cantors whenever possible.
The horses were very well trained, forward going and in good condition for long day rides. Very friendly supporting staff provided camps, camp fire meals etc., enabling us to relax and enjoy.
Thank you for all the hard work you have put into this tour Nico. We shal be looking forward to ride with you again
