About
One of the towers of City Walls in Diyarbakır , built on a sun temple and then used as a jail for years. Now it is used as art gallery, concerts etc.

The view on top is amazing. The climb might be steep for some but trust me it's totally worth it once your on top. Sit by the tea house and enjoy your coffee and make sure you check out the gardens below the walls.

Don't miss climbing to the top and going in the former Zoroastrian temple underground. It is remarkable.

Next to the Mardin Gate you can find the Keci Burcu (Goat Tower) and it is a must to climb the stairs.... you will get the best view on the walls to the south and to the west. Sit down for a while a enjoy...More

Go for the views both back to the city and out over the Tigris valley. Downstairs there is a large vaulted interior with tea stands, and what is apparently a former sun temple.
