İt is in the old city center and one of the must see places in Bergama. İf you are interested in history you need to see and feel the history there.

Spectacular building - being renovated - handily is en-route from the Acropolis. 15 minutes is all you need.

The area itself is at the bottom of the Castle ruins. It's a good walk up to the castle and has a few interesting shops and old architectural buildings. Know that the Basilica still is under renovation. Worth a stop to or from the castle...More

The entrance was not too cheap, and of course, an impressive building in the middle of the city, with Egyptian influences and statues (who would expect this?) but the main building is still under re-construction, so not much to see yet...But go for a walk...More

You can enter it, there are parts of it still open, and the outdoors ground filled with artifacts and sculptures is still open to see, but there is an entrance fee, albeit not expensive. and the basilica itself is closed for renovation, so you can't...More

You can apreciate as you walk ip to the cable car to take you up to the acropolis. I did not see any publoc entrance and it looks that is it is been repeared.

Everything under reconstruction but very impressive huge Basilica. Probably the Egyptian statue even reconstruction take your curiosity more than the building.
