I came on a late afternoon and there wasn’t many people there. It felt spooky exploring the Agora alone; however it gave me the opportunity to get great photos without tourists around! If you’re already in Agora it will be worth exploring the bazaar across...More

Lacking a lot of information, you basically pay to wander around. Some information is available. For 10TL it’s ok, I Wouldn’t pay any more. We sent less then 20mins there.

It is great to see how civilization exist since BC in Izmir. I amazed about the water canal still working. We can see Roman archaeology and also Ottoman tombs. Very great. I spent 2.5 hours there.

Roman ruins in as good a state of repair as can be expected. In the middle of town. This is the original Smyrna Greek city inspired by Alexander the Great.

Nice place to visit between shopping on Kemeralti bazar. Tickets are for 10TL. You can walk on basement of ancient agora and look at ottoman cementary monuments.

Hello, This is so easy, when do you come to Izmir port by Cruise ship, than take a taxi and give agora (historical place) adress. Approximately from port to Agora 15 minutes. You'll pay apprx. 3 or 5 $ for taxi.

Yes you are right. Because one for Agor is big shopping mall in other side in the Izmir city (in Balçova). Real historical place of Agora is in city center. In this respect many people live the same problem. Best Regards,
