okay .... so this is a big square in a relatively nice location ... but that's about it. There are no big fountains, beautiful sculptures (except the guy on the horse), no nice architecture and nothing really of historical or cultural value. Worth a glance...More

Not too far from our hotel, and an area we felt quite safe in walking around. Indeed, we felt as safe in Izmir as in downtown Toronto. Very good squares/parks and waterfront to walk along.

One of the main squares in İzmir which is situated almost on İzmir bay with a spectacular view ! The celebrations, concerts and demonstrations (sometimes) take place on this square ! Worth to visit and take traditional İzmir photo ! Must see

This is the square which is located next to the grand hotels, so it is quite easy to reach. The name means ‘Republic Square’ with a statue of Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey. The sunset, as the locals say, is at its best there....More

I think this is the place you should start your Izmir visit trip Souranded by the best Hotels and front is Agean see wher you see the opsit side as a city panorama photo

here is a big and nice square and in the nights is very beautiful than day.sometimes formal ceremony fall in this square.around the square you can find many hotel & restaurant & bars,it is better go there in the night.

I passed by this on my way to eat (iftar) and again on my way back to my hotel. It was lit up after dark but even still, it was not worth even slowing down. There are many great attractions to see while visiting Izmir....More

this square is near to the sea an is surrounded by many cafes and restaurants. it is good to walk around and have a time in a cafe.

It's very old and famous square of Izmir. It has restored a few times and now it could be usable for formal ceramonies. It' name is Republic Square. When you visited that square, continue to walk at Kordon, take enjoy to walk at sea side,...More
