Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Experience the historic site of Boncuklu Höyük in the rural countryside of the broad Konya Plain. This site offers visitors educational content in the form of a visitor centre and reconstructed Neolithic buildings. During the excavation season which runs from mid July to mid September you can also see the archaeological process in action.

This place is older than Çatalhöyük and ancestors of Çatalhöyük people lived there. After visiting Çatalhöyük, we desired to visit Boncuklu Höyük. It was not far from Çatalhöyük but the road was stabilized. When we got there, we realized that Boncuklu Höyük was closed due to Coronavirus pandemic. We could not see anybody there and it looked like abondoned.
The door was open and we just had a look at it. There were only a few model houses and the excavation area was also abondoned.
Maybe in the near future, the road between Çatalhöyük and Boncuklu Höyük can be improved and the site can be opened for visitors.
It could be really interesting to visit such an important historical site.
