Up the hill with the staircase fountain is another mosque. Souvenir vendors are outside but you can ignore them and enjoy the views of town from the grounds. There's another mosque down one side with pretty blue tiles on its minaret that are lovely as...More

The Alaeddin Mosque on top of the hill was built by the Seljuks and reflects the architecture of the period. The views of the city from the hilltop are not that impressive.

a kind of timulus, this hill unfortunately was under construction. But you should visit there anyway to see the mosque on top of it. Also you'll have chance to see Konya's landscape from this place.

Full of families on weekends and the old Mosque is well worth the visit. A park on top of a hill. Easily reached by Tram, bus, and dolmus

Sitting and admiring the views from the terrace of the mosque, we were 'adopted' by an elderly Turkish man. Speaking excellent English, he gave us a guide of the mosque and it's surroundings. It's a great place to visit, so atmospheric. And, for the few...More

An absolute non event when I visited. It was predmoninatly a building/renovation site, so I guess 6 months down the track it might be awesome.
