Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is a quite famous place but it is also really overrated. It is dirty and abandoned one. It is a place for backpackers and radical chic. There are better places. The only positive aspect was the bus service from Fethiye direct to the beach.

I got the dolmus from Oludeniz and walked down from the bus stop, not easy underfoot but great walk down. The beach is lovely and there is a nice restaurant at the bottom too. I got a taxi back which was a bit of a rip off but I didn't fancy the hike back up..

If you want to chill out drinking Efes and watching the sun go down then the bar on Kabak beach is the perfect place to do it. The music is pure Cafe Del Mar style covers of anything and everything.

This is a stunning area which is unspoilt. There are a couple of little cafes with stunning views over the mountains and ocean. However to get to Kabak beach it is a fairly difficult climb down so is not suitable for very young children, the elderly, disabled or very unfit. However if you are happy to do the 5 kilometer walk down (and back) to the bay then you will be rewarded with a totally unspoilt beach and bay with magnificent scenery towering above you. Take drinks and food if making the trip down to the beach.

I absolutely adore Kabak and hope it doesn't get anymore built up than it is as it's completely perfect at the moment and I wouldn't change it a bit! If you want to visit the proper Turkey then you must visit Kabak, quaint little restaurants overlooking a beautiful cove, turquoise blue water, fantastic snorkelling and amazing views!
You can get a dolmus very easily from Oludeniz and the view there is breathtaking and even better on the return journey as the sun was setting!

We have been twice to the Olive farm in Kabak. We took the local bus from Oludeniz in the early morning and travelled 45 minutes to through the mountains until we reached Kabak.
The place is absolutely stunning, with far reaching views of the sea and mountains and butterfly valley down below.
The Olive farm is delightful. You can spend the day, or book an overnight stay in one of their wooden chalets for the complete experience. We arrived for their "village breakfast" I am not joking, but we didn't need to eat all day! You can also book lunch which is all home cooked and is excellent both in quality and price. The icing on the cake is the sheer beauty of sitting by the infinity pool with the sea beyond, or sitting in the Olive Garden with a good book and just soaking up the atmosphere.
An unforgettable experience that should not be missed!

Kabak village is a unique in my experience in Turkey. A very eco friendly and conscious valley Kabak is quite rightly a challenge to get to - keeping visitor numbers at a sustainable level. Amazing beauty and very laid-back, friendly with a bohemian atmosphere.

We were walking part of the Lycian way, this beach was ,, a must do '' on our plan.
So next morning we tried to get down to Kabak beach...
Recommendation : go down on the dusty, but safe road FOR CARS, not like us, when we were following the signs on the path from Mammas hostel down to beach, ending up in risky downhil descent. Beach itself : water in the sea was quite pleasant and almost clear. No source of spring water, so bring it with you. Excellent views of the valley, if you swim 50 m and turn around.

This is the. It's amazing place to visit, a bus ride from FETHIYE picking up along the way then into Olu Deniz for the next part of the journey which takes you up over the spectacular mountains up and onwards towards Kabak. The Olive Gardens is an exepttional place to visit

Hi all, I've read somewhere that you can hire small speed boats (private) from Kabak. Can anyone tell me where I go for this and what the approximate prices are? Can you prebook them. Thank you so much all......

What's the best campsite / bungalow place for a single female traveller here please? I'd like a pool, but if I pick one of the sites that doesn't have one, is it OK to go to the bar of another site and use their pool, as long as you buy their drinks? Also, I have 11 nights total in Turkey - how long would you recommend staying in Kabak? Thanks in advance.

You dont need to stay 11 nights in Kabak, 3 nights would be fine, you can spend other night in other spots such as Ölüdeniz and Butterfly Valley

Can we make camping in this area?!! Is it safe?!! How can we organize it and is there any guide?!!
Thanks
Written 13 July 2018
Yes, there are several camping places. The area is perfectly safe. There are a lot of tourists and the local people are very nice. As for the organization of the stay just search Google for Kabak camping. Many camping places have their own websites or at least a page at Booking.
