Kayakoy never fails to impress me. The ruins of the ghost town are so unique. Make sure you take a walk around the wider village area though for the old buildings, hidden restaurants and crafts stalls.

Well worth a visit. Fantastic views of the entire village from the top, but be sure to wear sturdy shoes. Flip flops or sandals not recommended!

Great excursion if you want to learn about their lifestyle and culture back in the day. It does involve quite a bit of walking uphill and downhill on uneven surface, would recommend wearing trainers and taking plenty of water.

The village itself is very interesting. Be aware that it can be hot, exposed, and with very little shade, so bring sunscreen. Saw a tortoise on the path, which was cool. The trailhead for the path to Oludeniz is here (Lycian way), but the path...More

Kayakoy is definitely worth a visit, although make sure you're wearing flat shoes as the paths are rocky and steep in places. The houses are in a ruined state but there are some highlights like the churches which are really interesting. I was a bit...More

Check out Monarch and Thompson, who will fly several times a week between April - October. Otherwise Turkish Airlines via Istanbul.
