About
Fethiye is a port city, and district, on Turkey's southwestern Turquoise Coast. It's known for its natural harbor, blue waters and numerous rock tombs including the 4th-century B.C. Tomb of Amyntas, carved into a bluff overlooking the city. Near-shore islands are popular for day trips by boat. In the south, the beach at Ölüdeniz is sheltered by a lagoon, and Butterfly Valley is a designated nature reserve.

We felt disappointed that the old town was aimed at fake products for tourists. It's hard in the end to know what's real and what's fake. The shop keepers would have you believe that it's all the real brand! They are smart with there approach, asking if they can ask a question about the UK or what people in the UK buy, then they are full on with the selling routine. It does become a bit wearing after a while, so we avoided certain streets. There are some excellent places to eat though and we looked out for locals and where they were eating. The fish market and the vegetables are amazing and fresh, so worth checking out the small eating areas by the indoor market. We looked at buying some jewellery and it was interesting to test the bartering. They do budge a little, but not much, as the Turkish Lira has taken a hit in recent times.

It's a small area and attached to the Bazar area.
Not impressive and the prices are high compared to other Turkish cities
Café and restaurants are good especially Pasa kepab.

Not the best old town that I have been to but it is a nice walk round. Not sure where it starts and ends though. There is the sweetest little shop there that sells handmade leather shoes. They're so comfortable, individual and cheap... brought some as a present. Lots of spice/turkish delight shops. Nice little mix, nice to have a walk round in the evening.

Shopping, shopping, shopping!!! Shops as far as the eye can see! Spoilt for choice for AAA genuine Fake designer shops selling handbags, purses, shoes, trainers, sunglasses, belts, jewellery and more! Fantastic quality and DIDNT feel hassled into buying anything I didn’t want to.
Lovely restaurants, bars and pubs all over the place, a beautiful harbour, taxis a plenty. I can’t wait to return!! :))

Fantastic evening wandering the Paspatur, Old Town Fethiye among the little lanes. The smells of food, coffee, spices amongst the handbag shops, carpet shops, jewellery shops is intoxicating. A leisurely cocktail, a coffee or chai, a pide or something more substantial makes this a great afternoon / evening out. Finishing off with a stroll around the harbour, the lights dancing of the flat sea amongst the many boats touting for business.

I am strongly urging people not to take any trips with this company, our experience was that they ran a so called 'private' boat trip where one of the staff tried to touch inapproprately one of the minors in my party, drew sexually explicit pictures and the boats owners also argued all day and thumped each other. It was not a professionally run trip and the issues that we have raised with them since have fallen on deaf ears and not taken seriously. They literally passed the buck to the staff for the complaint to be taken further. It was not an enjoyable day in any way and they have ceased communication and not offered compensation or refund. We are in the middle of complaining to the tourist board. This trip was not cheap trip at over £200 and we are very disapointed. please be aware.

we just finished our gullet cruise with v-go.we previously have done 6 over the last 10 years, all where good.
This one was horrible.cockroach infested rooms. one towel for 2 people for 7 nights. broken toilet seat. horrible smells from bathroom. no hot water, no safety briefing. did not follow itinerary at all. we felt cheated. one sheet on bed for 2 people. hole in cabin floor. holes in wall and we could see into the next cabin and they could see into ours.We where never told what was happening and what we would be doing next. cruised 8 hours on the motors 1 day. 1 hour the next day.
had 3 days start at 5am to get to next unknown attraction.
it was so bad 6 of us left a day early. couldn't wait to get off the boat.
called from the boat to head office to complain and they said manager was out and he would call back. guess what he never did.
please save your vacation and go with another company.
v-go ruined our vacation.

A fantastic shop with a massive range of ,spices ,tea's,herbal remedies, oils, honey, natural soaps, aromatherapy oils too name a few . Wow what a selection, Tarik and Nesrin the owners were so helpful .I had a shopping list of spices for friends back in UK. i got all the ones on my list. I had a problem with insect bites ,they fixed me up with a Limon Kolonyasi it worked a treat. i sat one afternoon in the restaurant opposite having a dark EFS,i was amazed just how many people visited the herb shop, they are certainly popular with visitors and locals alike. I would certainly recomend this herb shop to all my friends. You will find the shop in the fish market area next to the fruit and veg section.

Can't say enough about the folks at Kaya Yachting who organized our week long "blue cruise" in the Fethiye-Gocek-Marmaris area of the Turkish coast. Value for the price was amazing. All logistics were perfect, boat was very nice, and working with Kaya Yachting was easy and efficient. I haven't seen a review of them on Trip Advisor and my friend and I were so impressed that we wanted to be sure to write one!

We have just spent 3 nights and 4 days on a gulet cruise between Fethiye and Olympus (our second trip with V-Go) and have had an excellent and relaxing time. Granted if your expecting to be waited on and want your own space, then this is not the trip for you. The cabins are basic but they have everything that you need - pillows and blanket, own toilet and hand held shower, but maybe better to sleep on deck just watching all the stars, as you are moored in a calm bay, with no light pollution. Spend your days just swimming in bays you visit - snorkels and flippers provided for the more adventurous - or reading or chatting to your fellow shipmates. You can be sociable or not - the choice is yours. The food is well prepared and is incredibly fresh. The crew couldn't have been more helpful. All in all a perfect trip for us and we are looking forward to doing it again in the future.
