Transfer stank of stale smoke; main lobby stank of smoke as one of the receptionists were smoking indoors. Apart from this, the whole experience was great! We had the Turkish bath, which included an exfoliating scrub, foam soap rub, followed by an oil massage which was AMAZING!! All in all I would highly recommend this! Great authentic experience. Watch out for them trying to sell you other massages, facials, etc. I was recommended a ‘medical’ massage which I declined but it depends on your budget and how much time you have. UPDATE: I attended another Turkish bath experience after writing this review and I realised the difference between a private bath (mine was in my hotel) and a public bath; the public bath felt more authentic to me (Turkish men scrubbing me!), although there were about 10 Of us being bathed at the same time, whereas the private bath was more intimate and a typical ‘spa’ experience ie mood lighting, calming music, etc. So it really depends what you’re after. I’d suggest doing this one and a private one and comparing for yourself. This one was definitely worth the money for what you get; I paid 95 lira for this and approx 260 lira for the private one.

This felt more like a taster session of what a Turkish Bath could be like. There were multiple elements 1. sauna; 2. hot marble plinth, exfoliation, bubble wash and 3. Oil massage. The sauna - it felt like we were left in there for much longer than the 10 minutes we were told. The plinth - we were told we would go in and lie on it for 20 mins, have exfoliation then a bubble wash. On etnry, we had to sit and wait our turn, then we laid on it for much less than 20 mins, then 3 of our group had exfoliation while I sat on the plinth and watched and waited - it was my turn when someone got up to shower off their dead skin and somebody else had to wait for their bubbles. Not ideal, I had a shorter time than the others as was on catch-up. Then timeto move, sit and wait and be offered drinks (extra charge). Upstairs for the massage - the other couple were taken off, we were told we would be 1 minute. After about 20 mins, we were collected and taken into an area - we saw the other couple we were with had just finished. Good massage except for the 'sell' later - apparently I had a back and shoulder problem, my husband something else wrong, which they could correct for £30 extra. The translator wasn't very happy when we said no - and suddenly that was the end. OK experience however definitely a conveyor belt for tourists. Initial price is very good - but watch out for the extras they try to sell you.

This is a lovely building and staff friendly, but is like a conveyor belt, even though the price was cheap, could have been better to charge a bit more and make it better. we paid extra for additional massage, was good, but to rushed.

I've had hammam's in Morocco before, this was the first time in Turkey. Slightly different to previous experiences, but still enjoyable. Can I just state, that the owners may wish to advise the "guys" doing the washing and scrubbing of the customers, that is is NOT appropriate to slap women on their back-sides when they are finished the hammam. (I noticed that this only happened to women!) In hind sight I should have slapped him back! but seriously, this is NOT OK! Other than that, It is a lovely place. We paid extra for longer massage (Bali and medical). oofft. be prepared to be stood on and seriously pummelled. In total for hammam and about 2 hours of massage we paid £70. still good value for money compared to home prices.

Great Place to visit, well organised and amazing value for money. The staff were attentive we had a sauna, harman (Scrub and olive oil/soap massage), then a oil message in a separate room. So friendly even looked after the kids while we were having the massages.
