Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I always go here to see my friend Roseanna. She is so welcoming as are ALL the staff. It is a genuine authentic Hammam and not fitted into a hotel basement. I was here 3 times in 2022 and 3 times in 2023. Everyone I bring to the Hammam loves it because it’s so relaxing and fun. They cater for all nationalities. Please go and see Roseanna and she will
look after you. They will come and pick you up and drop you off. Amazing!!!

Just been to this Turkish bath via recommendation from my hotel it cost 800TL (approx £25)

First the pick was 35 minutes late to the hotel.

Secondly, when you get there they try upsell the other treatments which is fine, I didn't find them too pushy.

But the really annoying thing was that the group I was with who had booked elsewhere had only paid £10 for the trip.

It was a literal 10 minutes scrapping in the hammam.

Then, I waited approx 35 minutes for my 10 minutes of massage. Unfortunately for me, the people in my group went before me and they was still receiving treatments even after I had finished.

Overall really bad, not worth the money and felt rushed.

Good value at around 20 GBP including transport to and from hotel. It is a conveyor belt type operation but this appears to be reflected in low price. To compensate they endeavour to up sell additional services like hot stone therapy or so called medical massages etc. My overall impression of service was that the experience was impersonal and rushed. The massage itself was relaxing but quite brief and the up selling for extras continued during the massage itself when the supervisor informed me that masseur was recommending a further medical massage. When I declined they quickly lost interest and finished the massage after only around 20 minutes. I have had better Turkish bath experiences but maybe if you pay the extras, they would try harder to please.

Absolutely awful,

Turned up. Got shoved into a waiting room for 20 minutes. Then went through to be offered extra treatments.

Got put into a sauna which felt like being in Auschwitz gas chambers with about 20 other people. Left unattended.

Then through to get foam and scrum massage which was absolutely rushed. To finish of with about a 10 minute massage.

Awful awful awful. Go to the hotel turkish baths. Much much better AVOID

Awful experience. Booked through Tui whose blurb suggested a two hour luxury experience. In reality it was a 45 minute cold hearted grab for cash.

It started with a hard sell of "highly recommended" additional face masks and extended medical massages. Once I'd rejected these we were issued with a swimming pool style locker key and sent downstairs to get changed.

Wearing swimming shorts we were then directed back upstairs by an indolent locker room attendent directly to the hammam, no sauna or steam room first both of which were mysteriously out of order.

A 10 minute wait in the hammam was ended by the arrival of a couple of chaps with scrubby mitts that did a decent job of scrubbing for *precisely* 10 minutes. We were then kicked out into the reception area and asked if we'd like a (chargeable) water for about four times the going rate TKL50.

Upstairs next for the oil massage, again *precisely* 10 minutes. Towards the end a translator came into advise me that the masseur had note I had a physically demanding job and would benefit from the medical massage for £30 to alleviate the symptoms in my heel/knee/hips/shoulders/nose. The most physical thing I do all day is move my mouse or maybe go for a pee!

Having turned this down we were sent downstairs to change. End to end it was 45 minutes a not at all relaxing.

This place is simply a recipe for disaster. I went there 3 days ago with my partner. When we came in a lady welcomed us and offered us a seat at the reception. We discussed the packages and we chose Turkish bath with extra massage. She walked us to a changing room which had a bad smell. Mind you, it felt like a high school changing room with no privacy. We didn’t get any towel or whatsoever. After being left unattended for nearly 25 mins in the sauna room, we had the most horrible bath including soap for max 8 mins. We literally had to rinse ourselves after. We had to wait at the reception for another 25mins just to go upstairs for our massage. We started getting frustrated at this point ,as there was no communication whatsoever. We therefore cancelled the extra massages.

Never ever again! By the way, the bath and massages are only done by males. Every single room is fitted with a cctv camera and a display of images on a screen at the reception. Are you guys even for real?

It is the worst Hamam I’ve ever had. No privacy at allllllllll….., bad attitude, liars and very slow service. These people are not professional at all. I did Turkish Bath in Istanbul and Marmaris more than 10 times, but I've never seen unprofessional people like the one in this place. When i said they are liars, i meant that they ask us for extra costs when we reached the place, and the budget that we paid does not cover the services that we bought. Completely stressful and frustrating!! I don’t recommend anyone to visit this place.

Absolute garbage, conveyor belt of humans, left unattended, sitting around waiting hammam was done and dusted in ten mins quick scrub, foamed, rinsed, pushed away to wait for oil massage, was given a drink warm water, was rushed to drink. Massage was the best part of the experience, which i have had several turkish baths before this was the worst by far.
Not to mention the hard sell at the start to throw other treatments on you.

Transfer stank of stale smoke; main lobby stank of smoke as one of the receptionists were smoking indoors.

Apart from this, the whole experience was great! We had the Turkish bath, which included an exfoliating scrub, foam soap rub, followed by an oil massage which was AMAZING!! All in all I would highly recommend this! Great authentic experience. Watch out for them trying to sell you other massages, facials, etc. I was recommended a ‘medical’ massage which I declined but it depends on your budget and how much time you have.

UPDATE:
I attended another Turkish bath experience after writing this review and I realised the difference between a private bath (mine was in my hotel) and a public bath; the public bath felt more authentic to me (Turkish men scrubbing me!), although there were about 10
Of us being bathed at the same time, whereas the private bath was more intimate and a typical ‘spa’ experience ie mood lighting, calming music, etc. So it really depends what you’re after. I’d suggest doing this one and a private one and comparing for yourself. This one was definitely worth the money for what you get; I paid 95 lira for this and approx 260 lira for the private one.
