I am not impressed of this museum, it is quite small and have poor exposition. Only one thing that I liked there was nice view to the city and the sea.

Well worth a visit. Although not far from the harbour (the posh part) it can be a little hard to find but just ask someone at a nearby restaurant. It offers nice views of the harbour and some intersting exhibits.

This castle/museum is absolutely stunning! Amazing pieces of history and beautiful views from the top of the castle across Marmaris and the sea. This is a must see if in marmaris. As long as you are fit...the steps are very steep.

Although the first impression you get once arrived by ship in Marmaris is that of a resort for rich people, you change this impression once you arrive to the Castle. This awesome place has archaeological findings, from different epochs and civilizations, distributed around different rooms...More
