I had to rub my eyes when I first saw the rock cut tombs in the mountain-sides. The area is best known for its conservation of logger-head turtles.

Absolutely breathtaking. The fact that these are not the easiest of places to get to and what the locals must have endured to create these tombs for their loved ones is nothing short of incredible

I could just leave it at the title of 'simply stunning' and not bother writing any further as the two words do it full justification. We went on 2 different boat trips on the Dalyan river & were totally impressed by the clear water, the gorgeous scenery & relaxing atmosphere. A trip to the Kings' Tombs, turtle beach (which has... Wonderful views of spectacular scenery. Swim in the warm waters of the Dalyan river and enjoy the mud baths and warm springs. I didn't feel any younger when we finished but what an enjoyable experience. It is a must experience.

I would definitely recommend the boat trip out to Dalyan. We had a fantastic guide. Definitely worth the full day out.

while having a boat tour at the river you look these fabulous kind graves on the rock and you travel in time to think about how they made all these things and how they lived in there.. this is an amazing place if you are interested in different aspects of the history..

Visited Dalyan on a boat trip from Marmaris. Had a great trip and would love to go back and explore Dalyan itself. We passed the tombs on the hillside and had a mud bath. Don't know if we'd do that mud again ! But it was a bit off fun.
