My girlfriend and I visited Uganda for 22 days in September 2017. We landed in Kigali, Rwanda and flew out via Entebbe, Uganda.
Ukko from Piece of Uganda Safaris made all of the travel arrangements from Kigali, through 5 of 6 national parks, and back...More

We only started planning our trip a few weeks beforehand, but luckily we turned to Piece of Uganda to get the most of our brief visit.

Thank you for your kind review. It's always little about a luck too with a short safari, but we are so happy that your karma combined with eyes of the best ranger in the park brought you the best results.
You are always welcome back....More

I had a tailored two-week tour in late July. There were several places, such as Ssese Islands, Lake Mburo NP, Kibale rainforest with chimpanzees, Lake Bunyoni, Kampala including Ndere center and Entebbe (Mambara swamp and shoebill).
There was comprehensive e-mailing before trip so that the...More
Some notes about Piece of Uganda:
1. Professionalism: Ukko and Niina have all the knowledge you need to have to make your trip successful. Why? Because they've been almost everywhere testing by themselves all the places out. They really know their onions :)
Great experience and everything worked extremely smoothly. I live in Uganda but decided to go with a company when my mom was visiting and ended up with Piece of Uganda based on great reviews from friends. We did the gorillas in Bwindi and chimps in...More

We have few one day options starting from Entebbe or Kampala. If we concentrate on animals the best safari option is Lake Mburo National Park. This will require very early wakeup and will include 3+ hour drive both ways. Price for this depend on the group size but in total we are talking about few hundred dollars per group.
Another good option with two hour drive from Kampala is to visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will visit rhinos in their natural habitat. Rhino tracking is done by walking so it's a good peak to ugandan nature as well. On this location we have a chance to add also shoebill tour with boats. I would recommend this on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays so you can end your day to Ndere Cultural center in Kampala with a great music show. Price for this is close to first option.
Third option is nature day staying in Entebbe. Early morning we visit Mabamba papyrys swamp by boat looking for shoebills and hundreds of other birds. After lunch in Entebbe we continue to reptile village and then enjoy the late afternoon at Botanical Garden with experienced guide. Price for this day is about half of the first two options.
Please visit our homepage and fill the form with your wishes including time and budget frame. We will build a perfect day for you.
