It was a perfect trip for the whole family!
The choice of driver was spot on and every ranger on safari was really good! We saw all the animals we wanted, ospreys, leopards, lions, chimpanzees, hippos both on land and in the water and of course Giraffes and elephants and much more!
In many places, the guides exceeded expectations, because without them a large part of the animals would not have been seen. The whole of two weeks with school-aged children was perfect. There was going active, waking up early, swimming and lounging, culture and warmth. I recommend Piece Of Uganda Safari with all my heart and sincerity.
The staff was reachable by whatsapp messages throughout the trip and handled all exceptional situations with professionalism. A local SIM card also made life easier in many places and reduced the pressure of an entrepreneur to get to wifi.
Uganda itself is a beautiful country full of nature and tranquility. The lack of tourists was attractive and I can also highly recommend this country.

We booked a four-day safari through Piece of Uganda Safaris in November 2021, including rhino trekking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest Reserve, 3 game drives in Murchison Falls National Park, a boat cruise viewing hippos and crocodiles, and a stop at the top of the Murchison Falls. We got very good personal service in planning the trip, a clear itinerary and useful advice on practicalities. This was one of the most relaxing yet exciting trips I've made, and I warmly recommend all the activities. We could fully focus on enjoying the activities, the nature, the animals, and the lodge since everything was so well thought-through and organised.
Throughout the holiday we had very professional and friendly service everywhere. We had an excellent driver with us who was extra helpful. The rangers were really knowledgeable, particularly the one we had for our game drives during which we were fortunate enough to see a leopard and lions twice in two days. It was unforgettable to see so many amazing creatures up and close, and I highly recommend having several game drives.
The accommodation was great with friendly service and a beautiful location. I very much appreciated the fact that the lodge was informed about my dietary requirements in advance, and they made a good job offering me vegan options of the menus that others were having.
I will definitely return to Uganda and go gorilla trekking with Piece of Uganda Safaris.

I had a 3-day safari in Murchison national park with Piece of Uganda Safaris. It exceeded all my expectations. Even though it was only three days, I experienced so much. Game drives, cruise in Nile, Murchison Falls and many animals, Big 5 included. The accommodations and meals included were excellent. The leading idea of Piece of Uganda Safaris seems to be to keep customer satisfied and provide even more experiences you ask. The price of the safari was very reasonable.

We booked a tailor-made trip to Bwindi to see the Gorillas and to hike the surrounding areas. It was amazing trip and I think I left a piece of my heart to the Bwindi forest.
Communication with Piece of Uganda Safaris was easy and exceptionally fast throughout the whole trip.
I also like to give a special thanks to our amazing guide Agatha who took such a good care of us the whole time.

We went on a 11-day family safari trip on October 2021. The trip was tailor-made to us by the Entebbe-based Piece of Uganda Safaris. We visited Ziwa rhino sanctuary, Murchison Falls and Kidepo national parks, Sipi Falls and the Source of the Nile in Jinja, among other things. We got expert service from Piece of Uganda Safaris in planning the trip and going through different itinerary options. We couldn’t be happier with the final program.
The trip was a wonderful experience. In advance, we were a little insecure since our girls were still quite young, 8 and 10 years old. Piece of Uganda Safaris did its utmost to secure us a safe and comfortable trip. We had a wonderful driver who took great care of us all and educated us about the local culture. Also all our rangers and guides were true experts and made us feel safe. We had an own car at our disposal all the time and accommodation and food were excellent all through the trip. Everything went as promised, and even the weather was always good. On top of this, we saw all “big 5” animals already during our first safari day. We were lucky.
It was a truly memorable experience to listen to lions roaring in the night or watching extreme thunderstorms on the horizon. Uganda – especially Murchison Falls national park and Kidepo national park – exceed our expectations with stunning sceneries and multitude of wildlife. Go and see for yourself. Our family gives the highest recommendation for Piece of Uganda Safaris.

Thank you. It was a true pleasure to be part of your family's holiday in Africa from the beginning. Planning surely became a long one during this global experience, but we are more than delighted that it all lived up to expectations.
Sometimes I have a feeling all the animals purposely decide who they want to show to.

Well designed and executed 4 day safari was an experience of fireworks. Murchison Falls and National Park, evening on the Nile, chimpanzee hiking and still rhino walking on the last day exceeded our expectations.Expert guides and driver took care that there was enough to see. (Among other things, the big five.) Excellent accommodations and meals. We just enjoyed it.
Good work👌 Thanks!
Ps. Uganda feels like a safe country and the people are relaxed and friendly. Indeed the pearl of Africa

We had an exceptional experience on our safari to Murchison Falls. Piece of Uganda Safaris (I talked with Ukko) had incredible communication at every step. I went into the safari feeling reassured and relaxed. The entire staff is friendly and professional. Our driver Karim and ranger Sam made the experience easy and fun. Piece of Uganda Safaris coordinated our activities, lodging, some meals, and transportation and all of these factors exceeded expectations. I would recommend this company to anyone (and I already have!). This was truly once in a lifetime!
Thank you so much for this experience!

Went to Murchison Falls National Park on an absolutely fantastic safari, tens of thousands of animals, never a quiet moment. Lions and elephants in abundance, buffalo, hippo and giraffes everywhere not to meniion a crazy amount of different antilopes and all the most sought-1after birds. Our excellent ranger also managed to spot a leopard that we followed for half an hour.
Accomodation was very good in Murchison and also at the Rhino sanctuary we visited on our way back to Kampala. Food and service was ok, but for sure a bit hurt by Corona - being the only guests (having many advantages too) the abundance cannot be expected in the restaurants.
Most of all we appreciated the knowledge and deep experience of both the operator and their staff (rangers, drivers, etc.). From the initial planning of the trip to the execution it was pure excellence!
And at a price standard Ugandan operators would not even give you a brochure, nor any advice (we have tried before we met Ukko&Niina).
If you want to be sure of a memorable safari or other trip in Uganda go no further, it is here and with Finnish dependability.
Suosittelen!

I'm not thanking you only for your excellent review, but it was also absolute pleasure to organise your safari during this special time on our amazing planet. Your driver, rangers, all the staff at the lodges and I bet animals too have been missing clients like you. Thank you for trusting us and welcome back anytime.

This trip left a mark in my heart! I can recommend both Piece of Uganda safaris and Uganda to anyone who wants to enjoy meeting wild animals safely from close distance, gorgeous nature, sunny people and lovely climate.
I outsourced all arrangements to Piece of Uganda. They planned my trip according to my preferences and budget, gave me useful guidance before the trip (what to pack etc.) and I have never had such a relaxing holiday where I could trust Piece of Uganda and their drivers taking best care of me. Absolutely no hick-ups in over 2 week trip. With best rangers, I was able to see the Big 5 and have forever memorable moments with gorilla family, and galloping among wild zebras (on a horse), hike in the mountain area and canoe in the lakes. Accommodation was top, with great service, good food and safety. Piece of Uganda knew the best accommodations and tailored them according to my needs.
I would give Piece of Uganda 11/10 points for arranging me a holiday I will remember forever! I will definitely go back - there’s still so many more opportunities to explore!

What can be visited in a single day safari?
Can anyone give an idea about the expenditure please.

Hello Sayeed,
We have few one day options starting from Entebbe or Kampala. If we concentrate on animals the best safari option is Lake Mburo National Park. This will require very early wakeup and will include 3+ hour drive both ways. Price for this depend on the group size but in total we are talking about few hundred dollars per group.
Another good option with two hour drive from Kampala is to visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will visit rhinos in their natural habitat. Rhino tracking is done by walking so it's a good peak to ugandan nature as well. On this location we have a chance to add also shoebill tour with boats. I would recommend this on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays so you can end your day to Ndere Cultural center in Kampala with a great music show. Price for this is close to first option.
Third option is nature day staying in Entebbe. Early morning we visit Mabamba papyrys swamp by boat looking for shoebills and hundreds of other birds. After lunch in Entebbe we continue to reptile village and then enjoy the late afternoon at Botanical Garden with experienced guide. Price for this day is about half of the first two options.
Please visit our homepage and fill the form with your wishes including time and budget frame. We will build a perfect day for you.
