After a 45 min trip by boat, you'll be welcomed but nice guest who will ofter you hot drinks before starting the visit; visit to be done if stayed a bit in Entebbe.

I spent two nights there several years ago. My husband and I were able to go on a walk-about with all of the juveniles - it was the most amazing experience I have ever had with wildlife.

You can take a taxi from Kampala from the the old Taxi Park and then the ferry over to the island. However, many people book through a travel firm and they are picked up from the hotel and taken to the island and back. If... More
