About
The Amagansett Square is a quaint, cozy, outdoor shopping area nestled in the heart of Amagansett. It is a vibrant, community-oriented place where children can run and play freely and adults can easily shop, eat and meet neighbors & friends. Often, the Amagansett Square hosts special events for the community, specifically, outdoor concerts, movies on the green, fundraisers, and plenty of fun for children; Santa in the Square, Easter Egg Hunt, and more. Our beautiful town square is frequented by/among locals, Hamptons regulars, & the world's brightest luminaries.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are in East Hampton Head over to Amagansett Square. There you will find charming boutiques, Jack's Stir Brew, the Meeting House Restaurant and many other stores all outdoors.

…Heck, you can even buy a $110 scented candle at 'Love Adorned' which has a ton of really interesting, even museum quality stuff.

From their own website, they explain that it is a friendly, neighborhood park with boutique storefronts, nestled in the heart of Amagansett. It is a vibrant, community-oriented place where children can run and play freely, while adults shop or eat with friends..... and it is exactly that. I particularly enjoyed the young moms, on their blankets on the manicured lawn, watching their very young children smell and touch flowers as those kids roam and explore the beautifully planted landscape.

It is a very richly planted and maintained mature landscape garden in the heart of Town.

Grab a coffee, pick up some cheese, stretch at Mandala Yoga, or indulge or imbibe in “rosé-inspired cuisine” at the new Wölffer Kitchen.... plus so more.

I like it....

This is an outdoor shopping area with quaint stores, a terrific lunch place with outside seating and other restaurants. Finish off the visit at Jack's great coffee shop.
A good place to visit for an hour or two.
