There are beautifully arranged exhibits in a very pleasant setting. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The permanent exhibits are very thorough and there is always a mouth watering temporary exhibition.
I volunteered in the summer camp at the museum and it was my first visit to it as well.
The museum is divided according to the historical periods that the city went throw and some halls have similar displays of the actual archeological location.
Its location is good. One can park his car inside the gate. Entry fee is AED 5 only. One can see the old archeology of Emirate of Sharjah inside. One can experience the lives of people of Sharjah from the stone age to the present...More
I loved going to this museum, and have been a few times. The staff are awesome, very knowledgeable and polite, excellent English too.
