Sharjah is a city next to Dubai but is no way glamourous or attractive.
Sharjah is one of the most conservative city of the UAE. No alcohol at all. Lower cost of living. Not many shopping malls here.
Their Al Wada bridge 1.8km long. Catholic Churches are allowed here. Second oldest mosque was built in the 14th century.

This is a good bus tour which takes in all the architectural delights as well as the leisure spots of Sharjah. Two routes - Green and Red, worth doing both. Unfortunately, even though we were given headphones, there was no commentary on either bus.
