On the Silk Road the Bazaar of Samarkand great attraction for tourists. The area of Bazaar(farm market)-today's is central market of Samarkand. Samarkand bazaar the great attraction looking for fullness fruits,vegetables, bread,nuts,seeds,spices, beans,meat and authentic restaurants

It is always nice to visita the markets to get the idea of the local habits, this one is rather large, all kinds of produce is on sale. Skip the touristic part, Samarkand is rather expensive in comparison to Bukhara or Khiva or even Tashkent.

The market near the railway station is walkable distance in Samarkand. It sells mostly local fruits, vegetables and bread. It's such a pleasure to see Uzbekis primarily women selling. They invite to their stalls with a smile and ask you to sample their fruits. They...More

The central market is located near Samarkand historical center just behind mosque either there are battery golf cars which u can take which takes about 1000 som and will drop u there though by walk also it’s only 10 minutes from parking !!! The market...More

Large areas full of traders.. Now it is souvenirs and tourist but still trading in normal everyday objects and food. Wonderful spice smells in the bazar

Great opportunity to see the real people about their business, and see what they're buying and eating. It's busy and hectic, with a chaos of noises, sights and smells, but the people are all very friendly.
