An incredible place, popular with ex-pats and locals

Had an excellent lunch here. So interesting to watch the staff make food behind glass walls. The variety of food available boogles the mind.

Delicious delicious! More market style than morning glory but also more Asian! Again not really too kid friendly but my son had a delicious pho ha. I signed up that night for the cooking class the following day which was superb!! We got a boat ride to the market, and a thorough tour with our fab guide Ruby! Then back... More

I have been here two nights running because of the tremendous variety. From BBQ meat/fish, fried treats, dumplings, steamed buns, grilled treats, weird & wonderful (snails, silk worms, frog), noodle soups, congee, salads, sweet treats and more. It's my idea of Vietnamese food heaven!

We thought we would have fun sitting eating overlooking the night market at Vys Market Restaurant and were not disappointed. Relaxed service and ambience, my husband talking his broken Vietnamese to the staff entertained both us and them, the crab wontons, fried spring rolls, the prawn curry and the mackerel were all wonderful. Maybe the mackerel needs a little more... More

We had a delicious lunch here. To drink I ordered a whole coconut (yummie), my boyfriend had a lemon basil and ginger syrup. To eat we had the Hoi An Bành mí - they make the bread there - it was super delicious. To venture into the weird and wonderful we ordered a silk worm salad, which was interesting and... More

I don't know what to call this.. It's a cooking class, street tour, market experience all rolled into one. If you want to know about Vietnamese food DO THIS TOUR. The cooking centre is an euphoric centre of culinary delights! Our guide was a cheeky, gorgeous young lady who entertained and educated us. If you want to try some interesting... More

We ate several meals here and everything we tried was excellent including cold beers and cocktails. Our favourite dishes that are 'do not miss' include the Cao Lau, Duck with crispy noodles, Stuffed squid and caramalised prawns.... still dreaming about these dishes! Staff are excellent especially Moon who went out of her way to provide brilliant customer service. One night... More

What a place. Food is soo good I ordered two mains. Great service and really good atmosphere, only regret is that I did not come here sooner. Looks like they do cooking classes here aswell.using local ingredients and all food allergies catered for ie veggies, gluten free, etc.. Fantastic place.

I usually try to do a cooking class in most countries I visit, and as a result I've completed a lot! My morning at Vy's was right up there, possibly at the top of the list, for how much I've enjoyed myself while completing the course. I took the "holiday masterclass", starting the day with a very enjoyable boat trip... More

The place it self is worth a visit. On the ground floor is a compete restaurant market, where you can eat your heart out! We did the advanced cooking class. Starting early in the morning heading of to the real food market by boat, collecting part of the ingredients. Our guide girl, cherry, showed us all kind of different herbs,... More
