Ha is our guide for the 3 in 1 tour. It's unbelievable that we have been done some many activities in just a half day. She begins with bringing us to the market and introducing the seasonings, fruits and food, then riding bicycle back to her restaurant, with a brief stop to ride on basket boat and teaching us how... We decided to book the cooking class last minute and they were very accommodating in letting us participate even in short notice. Our guide and chef was Helen, and she gave us a very interesting tour of the market, teaching us how to pick fresh vegetables, meat and seafood. She is a great guide because she is funny, catches your... More

Our tour guide brought us here for lunch. The cost was $7 per person, but that included multiple courses. Unfortunately, I can't remember all of the dishes, but the food was fresh and delicious. The papaya salad was hands down the best I have had in Vietnam. This was followed up by pork in a clay pot, fish in banana... More

We had the most fun afternoon with chef Jessica and her family. A cheeky character who was a great teacher of a yummy 4 course menu. The visit to the market was a great experience of Hoi An too. Some real characters and interesting fruits and veg. The setting is by an organic garden with farmers working hard all day... More

Recently did the 3 in 1 option with Tra Que Water Wheel with our friends. Sung was our guide for the day and not only did she do a wonderful job as a host she also sang us a beautiful Vietnamese song. We all agreed it was the highlight of our stay in Hoi An. The day included so many... More

We joined the cooking class, and the arrangement is excellent despite the bad weather. Han, our guide, gave us the best cooking class experience ever. The boat ride and the buffalo ride is fantastic. The cooking arrangement is amazing consider such a reasonable price. Will definitely share this great experience with my own friends.

We came to the pleasent village of Tra Que on our bikes, without making a reservation in advance, and were welcomed by lovely Jessica and the staff. The village and the vegetables gardens are beautiful, and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. We took a ''package'' that included farming, a little boat trip in the river, rice paper making... My mum (60yr old) came to Vietnam to visit me, so I had to play tour guide. Since she is very interested in local foods and cooking, I organised the Water Wheel Ecology Tour via their website (Private tour for 3ppl). On the morning of the tour, we met Xuan (I highly recommend you request her) who took us to... More

Was really keen to do a cooking class while travelling in Vietnam and friends recommended Tra Que Water Wheel which is beautiful herbs village easily accessible from Da Nang and Hoi An. I have to admit it was a highlight of a two weeks tour around Vietnam. Just to name a few reasons why: - Personal touch- I don't eat... More

Our family of 8 enjoyed a wonderful time here, learning about the Vietnamese farming techniques, making rice paper and a cooking class. Jess was wonderful, she met us at our hotel and joined us on bicycles to get to the village, where we were greeted with a welcome cold drink and towel. We joined her family in the gardens, preparing,... More
