My wife and stopped in here after our tour guide told us his disabled sister works there. Immediately, we could tell this was a high quality product store. Great and diverse range of products - from stuffed animals to teas. We had a tea tasting where we tried just about every tea they had to offer before buying the lavender... More

We were drawn into the shop because of the stunning scarves and beautiful gifts. Then we were told about the Vietnamese lesson - we went along for a free 30 minute lesson which was great. The staff were lovely and it gave us an insight into Life Start. Would definitely recommend stopping by. We wished we had had more time... More

I took the lantern and Painting class earlier this week. I am glad I did. With me in the class, was a family with 2 young boys. We all had a nice time and had a nice painting and lantern to show for it. It was a great way to raise money for this amazing organization.

We took the lantern making class, which was a... More

Spent a morning learning how to paint cards using traditional Chinese techniques under expert guidance. We then created silk lanterns. All to support this fab NGO that supports local disabled people

There are many places selling tea and crafts but putting money into the hands of the differently abled is in my view a more harmonious way to shop

This little shop has some really interesting things in it. I found several things I couldn't resist and the fact that they use the money to help the impoverished helped convince me to buy them ;)
