Great beach

Beach area is still not fully developed and is quiet. You are left to enjoy your time without being bothered by people selling their wares. Ocean is clean and so is the beach.

It's not much of a beach anymore sadly. It was washed away in a large storm and hasn't recovered. Now it's just giant sandbags acting as a retaining wall against the waves

Too dangerous to swim, nice to see the fisherman and watch the waves, but also lots of rubbish on beach and not somewhere to stay a long time

Worst beach I have ever been to. Not worth to spend only one second there (see pictures). Due yo erosion, there is a huge ugly row of sandbags between beach and sea. They don't keep the beach very clean.

Not sure if it's because we're here out of season or if we went to the wrong bit, but it it's rank. Sandbags line the seafront, rubbish bags everywhere, covered in debris, horrible looking restaurants and a few sunbeds that have seen better days to say the least. We left after 2 mins of walking down from our hotel which... More

After being advised by our tour operator that Cua Dai beach was one of the most beautiful in the world and putting us in a hotel for 6 nights right on the wsterfront, we were stunned to arrive and find a horror of litter & sandbags so huge they prevented us from being able to access the sea. The locals... More

The beach has suffered terrible erosion over the past four years and has all but washed away.. such a pity as we always thought it was a jewel! Not sure if the locals can restore it however efforts symbolic of the Maldives ocean barriers appearing in front of the Victoria Resort may assist somewhat. I'm afraid I wouldn't go to... More

This beach has suffered with the storm erosion. Some hotels have out up big counter measures to try and stop it. A little unsightly but its to be expected. Nice breeze from the ocean and lots of restaurants on the beach strip

The amount of styrofoam and garbage piled high on the beach left us cold, and the stirred up brownish water wasn't any better. Give it a miss.
