Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Most trees in Son Tra

Most trees in Son Tra

A루트

This area is only accessible if you drive a motorcycle.
Sure, you can take a taxi, but it's a mountain path, and it's very remote.
It will be expensive.

Always bring enough fuel before you visit. Fuel consumption on the slopes is very high. At first, I had to fill 20,000 VND of fuel without knowing anything about it, but I had a hard time due to running out of fuel.It is difficult to deal with any problem with the motorcycle cuz there are few people.

Visiting at night is not recommended.
It is very dark and dangerous to visit at night because of the steep slope and the large sharp curves and the absence of street lights.

I've taken a look at all the crossroads to find Must Trees in Son Tra.

Based on the Da Nang beach, keep the sea to the right.
A resort will come out. It starts there on the right side of the resort.

If you want to go straight to the Most Trees in Son Tra, use route C.
Route C, turn right.

However, if you want to take a little more chances,
I think it is okay to take a look at either A or B route.
Don't go alone, but have at least two pairs.

A-root

the A route becomes narrower. And the path will be broken by plants.
Wear a helmet, sunglasses, gloves, and buff to prevent scratches and injuries from plants. You can come back later because the way will be blocked.
It's one of the places where you can see natural monkeys.
When you turn off the motorcycle after arriving at point A, you will not be able to hear anything other than a natural sound.

B-root

It's an area where you can see the landslide in the road.
Because it hasn't been used for a long time, there are landslides on the sides, trees, and stones all over the street.
As you go along, you'll see a new resort on the right, but it will also end with a blocked road.
Don't speed up, cuz there are so many soils and stones stones.

C-Route

C-Route is where the 800 year old tree is located.
There are quite a few hills on the way. When you arrive at the tree,
you will find a memorial stone, and behind road is blocked.

The look of the tree is very unusual. All the roots are connected to a tree bush.

The landscape are excellent this mountain.

I am sorry to have learned about it alone, so I attach the location in the hope that more people will know about it. The area is not even known to Vietnamese friends. but I hope more people will come and see the great nature.

Thank you.

From Laddy Buddha, ride further the peninsula by the coast road Hoang Sa, you may see this huge tree. Nice sceneries on the way.

We came across the Son Tra Peninsula's famous Banyan Tree when we were on our way to the InterContinental Hotel. We were not really interested in the tree as such, but our guide insisted we do the mini trail to see the historic tree. The tree was apparently more than 800 years old and was a landmark during the war in Vietnam. The tree has many branches, but I wouldn't really recommend that people go visit this place on their visit to Son Tra/Da Nang.
