Phap Lam Pagoda is on a main road but the moment you set foot inside the gates the outside world fades away. The huge statues of the laughing buddha and Guanyin outside are a little crass but the inside of the temple is beautiful. Services are held there on the weekends and all are welcome. As you look at the... More

Highly recommend it. So peaceful, clean, sirene. Great for meditation or just looking around. Would visit again.

Phap Lam Pagoda is a two-storey temple in Da Nang City Centre, featuring towering trees, manicured gardens, and intricate Buddhist sculptures. Formerly known as Tinh Hoi Pagoda (until renamed as Phap Lam Pagoda), it was built in 1934 along Ong Ich Khiem Street, where Con Market is just a five-minute stroll away.

I toured all the temples and pagoda's in the Marble Mountains and found this shrine the most enlightening. I had lost my father on this week two years earlier and I lit an incense to Budda and I swear that statue smiled at me when I made the prayer to my dad. Not only was it a beautiful and relaxing... it is located off the main road. there are a smaller temples nearby. there is buddha sitting right infront of the temple. Behind is the Pagoda. it is old and well maintained. you get the smell of insents inside the temple ground. worth the visit.

There are some amazing sites in this rather small temple area. It is also very easy to reach. We asked the taxi driver to make a few small stops en route to Hoi An and this was one of them. Worth the time to pop in.

This pagoda is cool because it has a bunch of big statues rather than the usual few small ones. Very beautiful and easy to get to.

This is one of the best Pagoda's I have seen in Vietnam. Sp peaceful and beautiful Buddha. If you are in Da Nang then definitely plan on visiting this site. Very easy to get to on one those bike rickshaw's. People are friendly and you can spend as much time as you want.

Perhaps I went at the wrong time, but I saw about 5 people all sleeping on the floor when I visited the place. Its pleasant and tranquil, and a nice spot to do a little existential contemplation while smelling the fragrance of the incense The location is around 5 mins drive from the centre of town in a dense suburb,... The pagoda is in the city center so it's easy to get there. For Buddhists like me this is a trusted site where i can just come, sit around and keep the mindfulness in silence. Very relax especially on business trips.
