The drive up to lady Buddha is superb. Entry is free of charge and the view from the top is great. Lots of tourists and bikers. There is a Little Fish market down the road that you have to visit

Temple relatively new temple that sits on the peninsula. I would recommend going at night in order to see the sparkling Danang skyline in the distance. If you do go at night, let it be known that there are territorial dogs that aren't too keen...More

I really enjoyed my time at the grounds of the statue and the surrounding gardens, seeing the other statues and shrines along with Lady Buddha herself, the only downside however is that there does seem to be quite abit of litter in the surrounding shrubbery,...More

If it is, then it is impressive. You can only see the ground floor shrine. The gardens and the views are worth the visit and the Pagoda and gardens are even better. Free entry in case you were wondering. Larger than expected grounds but not...More

As the biggest statue in Vietnam this is very impressive. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Da Nang. The drive up there is really nice too (on a scooter).

Tranquility of the Lady Buddha should provide a great backdrop for this second meeting. Or maybe just another stunt by both countries.

Carved from one solid piece of marble and inside 17 floors to her head, she towers over the landscape and would be double the height of Christ the Redeemer or even the Statue of liberty

I used my scarf to cover my bare shoulders/arms when entering temples as a sign of respect but it’s not strictly enforced like in Thailand. There’s no dress code.
