About
This 2,185-foot-long bridge shaped like an undulating golden dragon is the most famous bridge over the Han River in downtown Danang. On weekend nights, the dragon comes to life in quite an unusual way: the bridge is closed to traffic, and the massive dragon head on the east end of the bridge releases bursts of flames and water in a spectacular night show. Prepare to get wet if you stand on the bridge near the head. Otherwise, you can view the spectacle from the river bank along Tran Hung Dao Street or many of the nearby rooftop bars. The bridge is usually a stop on a night tour of Da Nang. – Tripadvisor

Colorful Bridge in Da Nang with Dragon Sculpture
It was a long bridge spanning the river in Da Nang with a wave shaped Dragon constructed above the road way. At night there were multi color changing lights that illuminated the entire bridge. Sometimes the Dragon mouth would breath a sort of Fire!

    Amazing dragon
Stayed at the Val Soleil Hotel in Da Nang which was within easy walking distance of the dragon bridge. We could also see the dragon bridge from the rooftop bar. The bridge changes colour at night, varying between reds, greens, golds - very attractive. We went to the bridge on a Saturday evening at 9pm when the bridge gets closed to vehicles and the dragon breathes fire and then water - great experience if you cam.

    Fun and quick!
It was a fun show but it gets really crowded! I personally preferred to watch it from below the bridge on the side, rather than on the bridge due to the crowded place! If you stand on the bridge near the head of the dragon, be ready to get waves of heat and to get wet with the water!

    Majestic Golden Bridge
A landmark in Danang. You can’t miss it as many places we visited are at both sides of this bridge. We actually went to a restaurant which is walking distance from this bridge to explore the promenade. It seems like an ideal place for people to spend their evening with family members along the Han river.

    fire and water show
visited here on 10 September Sunday, came to see the golden dragon spraying fire and water at 9 pm, before 9 pm, many visitors already came here, and picked an observing point in advance to watch the dragon’s fire and water show. be noted that you should stay away from the dragon’s head, or else you might get wet during the water-breathing show. the show usually lasts for about 15 minutes. the dragon head will spray fire first, and then water. after the show, many visitor will take photos at the both side of the bridge, i also took some pics with the dragon head.the show only held on Saturday and Sunday night, if you want to see, make sure you come earlier to snag a good spot, cuz it might be very crowded.

    Magic!
I wanted to see the Dragon Bridge breathe fire four years ago but unfortunately spent the night in A&E. This time I managed to see it and it was everything I wished to see! Another thing ticked off my extensive bucket list!

    🐉 Simply Spectacular !! 🐉
Our taxi driver told us about this event when he picked us up from the airport .. so naturally we had him collect us and take us to the fire spitting dragon 🐉 Wow ! What a spectacle we found it absolutely fabulous and what a crowd puller!! Typically a tourist "must see" but don't stand on the bridge facing the dragon or you're going to get a soaking of water! I can imagine that it could be an "inconvenience " for local people because they shut the bridge, but please do not forget that the tourists happen to come to your city with many Dongs!!! There are quite a few negative reviews about this fire spitting dragon ... to those who say "don't bother" I say in return "Bah Humbug" Get over it! And I'm sure that people can make up their own mind..

    Unique Experience
Impressive site to see. At 9pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the dragon breathes fire and sprays water which is very cool to see! Its also right next to a large food market and riverside restaurants. The area is extremely busy around the time we went at 9pm

    Worth the visit
Sat-Sun- 9 pm for around 15 mins show... The crowd around to see the show, the atmosphere and the real show- all are worth watching. The dragon head emits fire first and after a gap, water.... You can plan to visit the night market nearby before/after the show, so plan accordingly. If you have to wait for the show, take something along to put on the field, sit and wait for the show to begin.

    Fire and Water show
Friday night, and I passed by here. I was wondering why there are a lot of people around, and I just realised the dragon bridge show. So I stopped to watch. It was worth it. And it's free. Just don't stay near the head of the dragon if you don't want to feel the heat from the fire and if you don't want to get wet with water.

Stopped here on way to airport. Took some pics, walked up and took more. It is a pretty good dragon and kids would love it. We missed it at night so can't comment on that.

It's a must-go in Da Nang, iconic! I can see this symbolic bridge from my hotel at a distance. During my visit at daytime on a Saturday, there're extraordinarily many police constables.

To explore the city best way is to book a motorbike tour.
And we booked city tour with Áo Dai Riders, the female bikers.
We stop mouth of the Dragon with Fire and Water Show, that is thrilling experience ever.
I love to seat behind the Bike to observe the riding moments along the bridge as well.

This is a busy bridge for motor vehicles and not for visitors because of the waste from vehicles. It is to be seen at night time from a distance.

We were so thrilled that we made it to Danang on the weekend! This show is only given on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Lots of people were crowded on the bridge itself but we enjoyed the show from below and it was still great. Take in the night market while you wait, the show is at 9.

The bridge has an interesting and original design. The fire and water show only happens over the weekends at around 9 pm. Combine it with a visit to the Son Tra night market. In addition the nearby road is shut off to traffic at that time and there is dancing and music on the street.
