A mish mash of different shops inclyding Indian clothing, s.american music shop and foreign restaurants. Vintage clothing although more expensive than at home and obviously imported...more charity shop than chic. Apparently twice a mo th there is an antique fair. Worth a visit.

The place where I first had that feeling: wow, I know these shops from the anime I saw when I was a kid (Maruko-chan, Shinchan, Sailormoon, etc.). Lovely, nostalgic feeling for me. Its a bit old, but is kept up, has many shops and cafes....More

Mishmash of electronics, household products, shoes and clothing, supermarket, pachinko, restaurants and pubs. We got there slightly late in the evening and almost all the shops were closed by 8pm, save for some pubs and small eateries.

Not bad for a stroll to take in a real variety of shops. Lots of used goods, lots of places to eat. It is quite popular with visitors.

So there are more impressive temples and better markets around japan, but this pocket of nagoya is good fun and very accessible. Good mix of culture and commerce 🙂

A variety of shops and restaurants in a street environment. Good place to walk around to take in the sights and sample the food

Visited Osu while in Nagoya & was amazed at how many places were in this district. From the outside it looks small. However, that is quite deceiving. Very cool place to visit, as there’s nothing similar in US.

Not very recommended to go. Typical shop and nothing special about the food. Price might be more expensive compare to some branded fashion on sale
