We were attracted to this museum for the Leandro Erlich swimming pool installation and were not disappointed. The pool was fantastic from about and below and you get some brilliant pictures. The building the museum is housed in is very interesting as well, along with...More

We were a little disappointed with the gallery. The famous pool exhibit requires payment to do the iconic above and below photo. You have to pay to enter underneath. The Free People's Gallery is nice and the outside installations fun. But I wouldn't go out...More

This is a contemporary art museum heavy on installation art. I sometimes find installations hard to understand and a bit of a joke. But here, I think it's been well curated and explained properly that I "get it". All the exhibitions are on the ground...More

Just arrived to Japan & the tour dropped by here. It's a nice little stop. Interesting displays. No need to spend too much time here. Very little signs though regarding the displays.

I really like the selection of artists, especially the works of Qiu Zhijie. In fact, my rating is mostly thanks to his artworks. The swimming pool exhibit is currently under maintenance above ground but you can still take pictures from below. That said, that is...More

Mediocre art in a mediocre building. Stick to the castle and gardens. The lines are long and English descriptions are minimal

I had high expectations for this museum, but I was very disappointed for a few reasons: -poor organisation for ticket purchasing. I got there when it opened and waited longer to buy a ticket than it took to look at their exhibits. Maybe they need...More
