The museum is some 15 mins walk from 21st Century museum. It's very small with just few halls. Get an audio guide, included in the admission, sit and contemplate looking at the water mirror garden.

Saw plenty of disappointed faces when they realised how small this place was after travelling the distance. I enjoyed it for its serenity and architecture. Probably takes one 15mins to complete the entire museum.

People who enjoy architecture should visit this place. The museum was designed by a famous Japanese architect, Taniguchi Yoshio and it incorporate the Zen spirit of the D.T Suzuki who wrote books about Zen Buddhism

Lovely piece of architecture and the garden is small and perfectly formed. Finding the museum might be hard, and check the opening times as we got caught out by being shut on Tuesday following a national holiday.

This very modern, inspirational building commemorates the life of D T Suzuki, who somewhat improbably introduced Zen Buddhism to most of the Western World. He married an American in 1915, remarkable enough in itself, but especially so when Japan was still a very traditional inward-looking...More

Small but impressive museum that is centered around D.T. Suzuki, a teacher of Zen Buddhism, who is considered instrumental in introducing this philosophy to the west. This museum and its contemplative space with reflection pool is peaceful and impressive. A tranquil experience compared to many...More
