Nice walk with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Since we took the tour the day after the Tsunami, we walked in the direction from Yui to Okitsu with the plan to turn back if needed. However, the heavy rain had not harmed the trail...More

It's really amazing view to Mt Fuji from here...it's quite a walk, but it's worth it:) I would suggest to have a map, it's difficult to find it.

We drove by this pass 6 times in the past 2 years, yet even during winter time, we still could not see Mount Fuji. You really have to be in extremely good luck to see the view in all those nice photos.

Satta-toge is old Tokaido, located between Yui-syuku and Okitsu-syuku. It is very good view point, you can see Mt.Fuji, Suruga-gulf, Tomei-highway, Route #1 at once. From Yui-syuku, you go west, and turn right for old Tokaido. You will arrive [Ichiriduka(Milestone of Tokaido)], that is entrance...More

Yes, but I'd suggest walking from Okitsu Station (one stop from Yui) and ending at Yui Station. It's a little more difficult to find the entrance to the trail, but you will have Mt. Fuji in front of you the entire time. If... More
