Our group stopped in this plaza for a lunch break. Lot’s of restaurants to choose from on the 1st and 2nd floors. Interesting shops. Lots of families with kids were running around. They have the big ferris wheel outside, a McDonald’s on the 2nd floor and a movie complex on the 4th floor. A nice place to relax waiting for... More

too many games for my son to play, he loves it very much. there are a parking lot just next to the plaza, if you met the minimun charge for spending in the plaza, it gave you free parking for few hours. that's a good place for children, and a good place for housewife (my wife loves the supermarket inside),... Situated at the waterfront in Shimizu, the Plaza has been open for about 15 years. The latest addition is the big wheel - well, it's not so big, and moves rather sedately... There is a selection of cafes and eateries, offering mainly Japanese catering. as Shimizu is famous for its fishing industry (principally tuna) there is always a good range... More

This place is so bad that it is laughable. It literally SMELLS like the 90's, if you want to experience that then you should definitely take a step in the plaza. It's heavily advertised and yet the centre is deserted. The stores are just filled with cartoon toys and are extremely outdated. There's probably like 5 restaurants there. One of... More

We arrived to this mall via bay ferry from Shimizu Fish Market. The ferris wheel was not working when we are there. Was pretty disappointed as it look really pretty from the photos that we've seen online. The mall was quite a decent size with restaurants, movie theatre, arcade, museum and shops. The new wing of the mall have Uniqlo... More

We visited S Pulse Dream Plaza in April 2015, during one of our cruise ship stops in Japan. The plaza is very walkable from the Shimizu cruise terminal, where our ship docked. You can not miss the plaza as there is a large Ferris wheel in front of the building. In the building there is a food court, merchants selling... More

There is better shopping, and better views, and better food, elsewhere. This is more of a local hangout, especially for high school students and soccer fans. The shops are nothing special, perhaps even below par on any standard. If you're strapped for time, I would avoid it. Otherwise, it's something to do on a day when you've got nothing else... More
