One of the best Shinto shrine in the region. It is dedicated to the lord Takeda Shinga; it is well preserved with nice surrounding.

This is a lovely spot in Kofu--beautiful grounds to wander through, wildlife (look for the Black-Crowned Night Herons while you are there), and lovely, ancient-seeming buildings. Well worth a visit; you'll leave feeling rejuvenated by the beauty of the grounds and the sense of history.
