It is just a relaxing place to be. Nothing much to do here. I didn't expect the place to feel like a deserted town. Not many shops and restaurants or cafes to have meals at.

I stayed over at one of the hotels that surrounded Lake Toya, The view was amazing and there were even fireworks at night by the lake which we totally enjoyed!

We were not fortunate enough to visit on a clear day so views were restricted but in some ways even more beautiful. The must rolled over the islands and gave the impression that they were actually floating. The gift shop was really lovely too.
