十字街から少し歩いたところ、五島軒本店の道をはさんだ向かい。かっては教会でしたが、今は教会の外観はそのままに、レストランとなっています。

今もちょっとした情緒あふれるような建物だと思っております。夜にもなると多少この建物はライトアップをしております。

元町地区の一段下がった道沿いにある小さな教会建築です。昔は相生教会として親しまれていましたが、2013年以降はフレンチレストランになって、気軽に中に立ち寄れる雰囲気でなくなったのが観光客的には残念に感じます。逆に言えば、ちょっと高尚な雰囲気でお食事を楽しみたい、という方にはお勧め出来るスポットかなと思いますが、お値段は結構高めです。

残念ながら現在は教会ではないので観光名所としての掲載は不適切です。トリップアドバイザー、フレンチレストラン「ルクリマ・ハコダテ」を探すとなかなか素敵なお店だと知ることができます。

港ヶ丘教会とかの看板は出ていないので、気が付きにくいと思います。レストランが入っていたようでしたが、店を閉めたという挨拶文がありました。今は、空き家の状態だと思います。

昔は教会で、ウェディングチャペルに変わって、最近なんとフレンチレストランに変わりました。教会が変わるって、ちょっと面白いですね。屋根の上に十字架は残っていますので、かつての教会の面影を残しています。

現在はこの教会を観光施設に転用されています。もとは日本基督教会函館相生教会として使われていたものですが、今の日本基督教団函館教会は函館市元町31-19にあり 函館山の麓に数多く存在する坂を交差して走る弁天末広通に面してたたずむのが、日本基督教団函館教会ですドイツ製のパイプオルガンが現在でも使用されていて、神聖な音を奏でています。函館教会も一見の価値があります

ついこの前仕事で行くことになって久々に教会なんかに行くのでちょっと緊張とワクワクしながら行ってきました。中に入ってみると良くテレビでみる教会となんら代わりがないのですが直接そこに行くと心が洗われる感じがしてなぜか教会の中にいると時間がゆっくりな感じがします。自分だけかな（笑）
