Visited this place it is one of the top rated attractions in Hakone. I wouldn't call it a must-visit attraction particularly if you've been to Venice, however if you really like glass art you would certainly appreciate it more than the average person. The gift...More

This museum features beautiful glassworks, both inside the buildings and out in the grounds. There are two separate museum buildings, one for classical glass pieces and one for modern glass art. There is also a colossal gift shop, though the items are quite expensive. Overall,...More

So blown away by the beautiful glass objects on display. Everything felt so exquisite and delightful. The buildings were so quaint and relaxing to be in. It was like a place of magic tucked away in the mountains.

What captured us were the sparkling trees in a wonderful garden setting. The pond with the Chihully sculpture was magnificent. Enjoyed the museum and the shops as well as the Italian restaurant with the handsome men serenading us.

I went there cause I thought I get free entrance due to the fee pass, turns out you only get 200 discount, so have to pay 1300. It is a museum with glasses from vienice, and no Japanese glass art, which is extremely boring for...More

The displays were interesting and colourful. The garden area provides lots of photo opportunities and the glass "veil" turns the place into a fairy-land for kids. However, it was the shopping that was the main attraction. Lots and lots of necklaces, bracelets, glasses, plates, bottles.....paradise...More

Beautiful! When the wind hits the crystal trees and sculptures, they sparkle in the sunlight! Then all the glass pieces inside are unusual and interesting. The glass insects are quite amazing. Its right on the bus line, so easy to get to. Just a few...More
