Cruise with a lovely view of Lake Ashi

A bit cheesy but comfortable cruise on a Pirate ship across lake Ashi from Togendai to Hakonemachi ko, which takes 30 minutes one way. Great view of the environs.

A lovely boat with drinks available to buy. Seating inside or standing outside. Great views of Mount Fuji half way on lake. Have to take a bus at other end but there are plenty. You can also return by same boat. First class available but you don't gain anything for that really.

A fun ride on the Pirate ship. The kids loved it, the views were absolutely gorgeous, and the ride was smooth and comfortable. Free using Hakone Free Pass.

When we go for the ride it was super sunny, so we could see clearly the beautiful view of the lake and mountain. Highly recommended if you have time!

The winter weather was very kind and we enjoyed a calm, beautiful ride in the ship. With plenty of vantage points to see the impressive scenery, including Mt. Fuji, the boat is very popular. Actually there are about four of these and they ply their routes to and fro across Lake Ashi. Refreshments are available.

Although cramped on that Sunday, the short ride was refreshing with the breeze taking off the cramped queues earlier. The view of Mt Fuji was spectacular, if you are lucky to spy it.

I like it the boat trip. It takes around 15 minutes, but it is very nice mainly if you are lucky and able to see the Mt. Fuji.

Interesting and fun mode of transport to bring you across the lake. It's about 35mins long for a trip. Good views of Mt Fuji on a clear day. A must-do! If you've a freepass, do a return trip for the fun of it!
