500 yen to get in, which isn't great, but not too bad. Tour is preset, so you have to follow that, no random exploring, which is what I prefer. Unfortunately, you only get to go only one deck below; would much prefer to see engine...More

The tall ship was great to see- you could climb into the bunks, visit the helm, go into most rooms, and take lots of pictures. Plus, the museum in the pavilion was incredible. (No photography allowed in the museum). Everything was displayed with English translation...More

Was a ship with lots of history. Well worth a visit. It has a history spanning both pre and post WWII. Most of the insides of the ship is open for viewing. Part of the ships history puts a different angle on WWII.

Visited both the ship and the museum beside it. Both very worthwhile. Plenty of signs in English and English speaking guides.
