It's worth going here and viewing these both from the top and the bottom. The falls are set against a beautiful backdrop, and the unusual angle of the fall adds to the intrigue. An easy walk up to the top is very worthwhile too as you get a view of the lake next to which the falls are situated

Just walking distance behind the shuttle bus station is a view platform from where the falls can be seen and photographed though one has to walk down few steps to the platform . It is distant though but refreshes one taking pictures with Yutaki Waterfall as a backdrop .

One of the best waterfalls in Nikko national park. I recommend touring from Yumoto Onsen village, along Yuno lake, all the way to the waterfall.

I was there in 20th Oct. The waterfall was cover by red and yellow leaves. It was really beautiful and amazing.

Majestic waterfall to view on the way to (or from) Yumoto. It is of serious height and bouncing on rocks all the way down which makes it loud and lively. The stairway that goes all the way up the fall is not for the faint hearted but allows for impressive views from mid-height. The restaurant and convenience store located at... More

On the way of walking trail from Senjo-ga-hara, I came across this big waterfall. There is a small path along the waterfall and I could go up to Yu-no-ko lake upward. There are a shop and a smallrestaurant. Toilets are in parking area.

We decided to take a break from the tourist bus ferrying to the attractions at the Senjogahara plateau / meadows. This is a vast flat lands that has a hiking boardwalk. Now, how cool is that ? We hiked about 4.7 kms to Yutaki waterfall from Senjogahara. It is an easy hike that takes you pat meadows , streams (... More

It is not exactly a waterfall with vertical drop, you can compare it with a water slide but this is a beautiful water slide. Only a few steps down from the parking lot or walking distance from Yuno Lake, it is all beautiful scenery along the walking path. A restaurant serving traditional Japanese food and a convenience store near the... More

Took the bus all the way up to stop 41, at the lake. Started walking the wooden path around the lake to the falls, and it was so gorgeous, we just kept walking- for 4 hours! There are lots of places to stop and grab the bus back to the station at any time. Or just keep walking! The trails... More
