Tired of the city, we escaped to Nikko, 1.30 hours train ride from Tokyo. The city is charming since you dont see any high rise buildings and surrounded by mountains.... You walk on the street and feel taken back into time. For me was more like 70's-80's, with old shops and few contemporary shops but everything feels like tradition. Therefore... More

The sign says it all-"Japanese gorgeousness". For a unique Japanese experience, and a small fee, visitors have the chance to dress in traditional Japanese dress- complete with hairstyling and shoes.
