My hotel arranged the tour and the joining instructions were spot on. After collecting more passengers we were on our way! Due to the volcanic activities we couldn't take the gondola but we managed a trip up another rope way! Lunch was alright. They left everything for us hence the soup got cold. Apart from that the whole trip was... More

A very quick tour but good for an introduction to Tokyo.Guide had horrible English. Paid for return trip to hotel(it's optional if you want to venture out) but as we arrived at final meeting point guide advised us better to take subway. Asked for refund for return service and he fought hard but eventually we got it back. If you... More

The negatives are generally that it requires a lot of time in a bus and getting is clear view of Mt. Fuji is not guaranteed. However, there are many beautiful sites especially around Harkone. One thing is highly recommended - pay a little more and book your ticket back on the Japanese bullet train called the Shinkansen. You will be... More

We took the morning bus tour of Tokyo through Gray Line. Our bus was FULL during the week and our guide spoke softly, mumbling through many of her facts. We were rushed through every stop and started late because our bus didn't arrive until 45 minutes after we were supposed to begin. I love taking group tours and getting to... More

We did the trip out to Mount Fuji. As others have stated it did take a bit of time to get out of Tokyo as we had to stop at many hotels and then swap to another coach. However, once we were on our way the tour was really interesting and made a nice change to get out of the... More

I went with gray line tours in the past before and decided to pick them again this time with the gf. The tour is pretty straight forward, pick up, to Mount Fuji, lunch(which can be included or you can purchase your own from the restaurant menu) cabal car Hakone springs(famous for their black eggs) pirate ship ride then ends with... We booked the day trip to Mount Fiji etc. It took us a long time to get out of Tokyo due to it being a holiday, so the tour arrived later than expected, however I don't feel we missed out on anything. Due to the time it took to get out of Tokyo, we asked if we could change our... More

First of all - a couple of suggestions about booking Mt. Fuji tour: 1) Check the weather AND visibility. Otherwise this will be a waste of trip. Google for "Mt. Fuji Weather" and check that you have 0% chance of precipitation and zero cloud coverage. 2) Grey Line Japan requires tour reservation, but with the weather changing VERY rapidly on... More

This was a tour took us to a lot of the place you want to see when you are in Tokyo. I would highly recommend it. The bus was comfortable, the guides were knowledgable and helpful. It was well worth the price. We chose the full day tour and bought the lunch. The lunch stop was really very nice and... More

We are not tour people --- this is the one tour we took on our trip. First, there are several companies that conduct these tours. So look at options. Second, Mt. Fuji is only visible 30% of the time. So check the weather forecast BEFORE you book. We were lucky to have an amazing clear day! Our photos are spectacular,... More
