We took 600 kids to marine world as part of their summer camp. Recommend for families or even someone traveling alone. Nearly everything is indoors so you can enjoy this place on a rainy day. The Hokkaido crab stands 3 feet tall!!

Great sea world like experience. The shows are very well done. and the aquarium is huge. I would call this a Must Do for Fukuoka.

I went to Marine World on a rainy day, expecting it to be a nice inside activity. What I found was one of my favorite experiences on the whole trip. There's a food court in the basement floor which was a lot more affordable than...More

This was not as impressive as the Okinawa Aquarium, but it was still worth the trip. More expensive than the Okinawa one too. This one was $22 for adults, I think. The one item this place had was the dolphin and sea lion show. The...More

Couldn't wait to get to this attraction. Mostly it didn't disappoint until we saw the dolphin show and realised that Pilot Whales were part of the entertainment. Sorry, I don't mind dolphins being kept in well-run captivity because I honestly DO believe they love the...More

The dolphin show is pretty good and isn't too long. Huge aquarium with lots of sharks, eels, turtles, etc. Well worth a couple of hours and is accessible by ferry or train.
