Went to check out canal city when we're in hakata, it was a cold morning! went to look around and got lost a little ....though the shops are good, navigation a little bit hard. The ramen stadium was pretty small compared to Yokohama ramen museum. though still pretty good ramen. I was sick that day and the ramen helps to... More

We went to have a look around. We ended up eating lunch there, we ate in Ramen stadium at one of the restaurants I think it was Shodaihidechan. We ordered the set a regular ramen, spicy ramen, small gyoza set and two beers for 2000yen. Wasn't too bad the gyoza was way too oily for my tastes, but the beer... More

It is hard to navigate in this facility because of the complex structure, but you have all the shops popular among foreigners here. The Ramen Stadium is great, and One Piece show is fantastic. They are going to have Exile show from next month. Good for frequent users as all kinds of events are organized every weekend. Very close to... More

This place is huge yet but personally find it hard to navigate. The place is badly designed as a mall and you have to pass thru indoor and outdoor to get to different shops which is especially annoying during winter when it is freezing outside and warm inside. The only place worth walking around is the new wing which is... More

Great view with canal! It is good to strolling following the canal. There are so many people on Rush Hour time but still good.

They have many kinds of Japanese Ramen, each store has their own flavours, and all of them are good. Price is normal, so you won't be ripped off. What more you can ask for?

There are two important shopping areas in Fukuoka: Tenjin and JR Hakata station. And if I cite the third one, it is certainly Canal City. Conveniently located between JR station and Tenjin, this shopping complex attracts many foreign tourists. There is also Hyatt Hotel inside.

Canal City is a large scale shopping cum entertainment area with 2 good hotels located in its midst. The numerous shops and dinning options makes it a compelling visit. But...like always, when you go shopping with the Wife, there's more time spent in the shops that anywhere else. But Canal City has a key distraction that helps resolve this perennial... More
