A little bit difficult to locate the fireflies road. And the road driving there was one way so be careful. We saw quite a number of fireflies even in rainy days. Recommended.

Our kids love the slide, and the huge playing area. There are some area with sandpit, so, better bring sandals for kids. Other than the playground area, kids also went to the Bugs museum, and the bridges on the other side of the park.

What a great way to stretch your legs and begin a vacation! Walk along the paths of giant ferns, colorful butterflies and more varieties of palms than I ever knew existed! Banna Park is worth the long walk!

Visited the park at late hours. Foggy on the way up to the mountains. Awesome view once you reached the top. Viewing stations overlooking the whole of Ishigaki. We came on a slightly rainy day. Rain and clouds adds to the beauty of nature.

This is 200-300 meters high hill. From here you can see the main city and the islands surrounding it. It is worth to stop here on the way back from Kabira bay. After few pictures it's time to go back, not much to do around.

Very large park with different zones, best way is to go through the park by renting a car. The bird house in the shape of an egg is really special. Not many people you surely can enjoy a nice day here.

Yes, Although infrequent. A car is much better unless you really want some exercise. You could also taxi to the top and then walk down, catching a bus then to your next destination. The weather is unpredictable (rain) so be... More
