We arrived by bus and were met by a glass bottom boat representative. 850 yen price, which was better than the regular 1050 price. We went. Just enough time to buy an ice cream before getting on a boat. The boat doesn't go out very far at all but you can see some interesting corals and fishes. There was one... More

As others have mentioned, no swimming allowed. But the beach and scenery are still nice to look at. We took a glass bottom boat but found it disappointing - not much marine life to see and most of the ride the boat was moving to reach a stopping location. And then it only stopped for a few minutes 1 or... More

+ Nice post card like scenery, clear blue waters with beautiful greenery + Good place to take many pictures - No swimming - Rather far from main city - Little activities, besides lunch and glass boat tour Nevertheless worth to visit!

This place is stunning. The vibrant green trees, the unbelievable shades of blue and the cute white boats makes this place look like one of the many commercials you've seen on TV for magical vacation destinations! All your friends will be jealous of your amazing pictures!

Enjoyed a walk along this beach, beautiful setting. Incredible colours in the water, and mad looking rock formations with trees growing on them. Overall loses a star because of the lack of amenities, the old run down boats, and general feel that this place is neglected by the local authority.

We were advised to go to Seaside Hotel for swimming beach (you cannot swim in Kabira itself). Huge disappointment. Were there at low tide - when trying to go swimming had to walk 200m inside the bay and water still below the knees => returned and waited 2 hours for next bus to escape. At high tide could be nice... More

The color of the water is incredibly beautiful. I've visited in Okinawa a couple of times before but never seen such a transparent and fabulous water. I was so impressed! There are so many glass boats you can take but even without taking a boat you can still enjoy this paradise of Ishigaki. This place is ' MUST visit'.
