The area is full of very small pottery shops. They sell traditional pottery and glass stuffs, 5 minutes from the Main Street.

You can easily find the Tuboya Pottery Center by taking Heiwadori off Kokusaidori and then taking the left fork near the end. There's not a major sign that says "You're now entering the pottery center," but you're there once you exit the covered area. There...More

Pipe in or try to visit potter workshop and see how he works and ask questions. There is much choice of shops to buy shisa statues (I made shopping after excursions).
