The restored castle is interesting and they have earphones that explain everything in English. There's no entrance fee and they sell souvenirs.

On the grounds of the ruins they are gradually building wooden reconstructions of the many buildings and you can really feel and re-live the times of shoguns and samurais. There are some amazing artefacts and swords on display. Well worth a visit also on a...More

This was an almost empty castle with historic significance. The pamplet didn't say much. Their staff tried hard to answer our questions but couldn't due to limited English skills. Nice garden though.

There weren't too many tourists when we were there, so the quality of our visit was decent. We really enjoyed the traditional feel of the museum and its large, spacious tatami rooms. Interior was very well-kept and staff was very friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
