Soak your feet in the hot springs. While you wait. The clock is interesting to watch. Similar to European Square clocks but with roofed parts lifting.

Crowds gather to watch this clock perform and it is totally worth the wait. There are large figures nearby and they are the characters from the story of Matsuyama which the clock shows. Wonderful display.

Fun to watch at 5 pm. This clock is a nice visit there is a foot bath next to it. The shops are near it. This is something fun to see and shows Japanese sense of humor.

This clock's performance s worth waiting for. While waiting take off your shoes and "cool" your feet in the warm water pool.in front of the clock.

My family and I visited Dogo to see the historical sites. While curious about the Onsen, they don't offer private rooms. Getting naked in front of a bunch of local strangers didn't really appeal. But! We still got a taste of what the Onsen would...More

The clock is located near the entrance to the Dogo Onsen arcade street. It plays the music every hour, I think, and attracts a small crowd all the time. Very funny. Some foot bath facilities with chairs nearby.
