Very neat place to see, clearly still a thriving sacred place for locals. With a mystical charm and atmosphere, this beats having to fight back fatty crowds of Chinese and American tourists in Tokyo.

This lovely temple is well worth seeing. Be sure to visit the museum of treasures. It is one of the 88 temples on the Shikoku pilgrimage route.

We travelled by car and had no problem reaching the temple. Parking free and ample. A lot of pilgrims were visiting the grounds. Bamboo walking sticks are provided free of charge. Certainly worth a visit
